The Badlands video revolves around my main character named Sprog. Sprog is the name of Mad Max's son who gets killed towards the end of the first film and would be in his early thirties at the time of filming the artwork. The intention behind the video was to capture the obsession a minor cast member of a cult film could have if this is what they are best known as. What if Sprog was perpetually haunted by his cult status such as the small child from Nirvana's Nevermind cover. I located Sprog (Adam Considine) within the cult film framework yet dislocated him from the other fans of the film and it's filming locations. He journeys through the landscape from within his car and walks through the original settings without having any contact with other people. He lives in a perpetual dream-state. A frame within a frame.
